We’re looking for aProduct Coordinatorto join our head office located inVernon, British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • A 4-year bachelor's degree at apost-secondary educationin business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience.

  • Strongwrittenandverbal communicationskills.

  • Experience providing positivecustomer experience, with provenrelationshipandconflict managementskills.

  • Provenproblem-solvingandcritical thinking skills, with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge.

  • High level of ability inOutlook(email management) andExcel(formulas, pivot tables, lookups).

  • Strong understanding ofgeneral accounting principles.

  • Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure.

  • Experience using asales system (AX or other).

  • Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.

In this role, you will:

-Gather, analyze, andcommunicateproduct supply information to manage working capital and on-time shipment.

  • Work to achieve optimum value for Tolko byeffectively utilizingcontainercapacity and rates. -Respond quicklyandproactivelyto supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes. -Addressandsuggest actionable changesfor product damages or claims for shipments.

  • Useproblem-solving skillsto suggest changes to individual orders when required. -Create ordersand process allshipping and receivingfor reman and external purchases. -Balanceandreconcile inventoryat origin reloads.

  • Liaise with sales and agents closely on customer requirements.
