Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in St Appleton, NL, with openings across multiple positions in diamond drilling operations. Depending on the position, team members may assist with drill setup and operation, core recovery, equipment maintenance, and site preparation, while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Daily tasks can include monitoring drilling performance, recording field data, handling and organizing drill core samples, and helping maintain clean and secure work areas. Some roles may involve interacting with clients or site supervisors, supporting logistics, and participating in regular safety meetings and on-the-job training. All positions work closely with field and operations staff to support efficient, safe, and high-quality drilling services. Qualifications Customer-focused mindset with strong Customer Service skills for working effectively with exploration teams and site contacts. Hands-on skills such as Polishing or finishing work that translate into attention to detail when handling core samples and equipment. Ability to deliver and receive Training, contributing to continuous improvement in safety, equipment operation, and field procedures. Willingness to work in field conditions, including remote sites and varying weather, with a strong commitment to safety protocols. Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and operating equipment as required. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in drilling, mining, construction, or related industries is an asset but not required for all positions; on-the-job training may be provided. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet any site access or travel requirements are considered beneficial.
