About Dominion Dynamics

Dominion Dynamics is building Canada’s first modern defence prime: software-defined, attritable, and sovereign. Our near-term programs include JADC2-North (Pan-Domain C2 as-a-Service/AuraNet) and an attritable CCA/Loyal Wingman initiative with Canadian industry partners. We move fast, deploy with the CAF—especially in the Arctic—and operate strictly within Canadian law and international treaty obligations, with a deep commitment to democratic values and the CAF community.

Why this role exists (now)

Canada is entering a re-armament and modernization cycle (NORAD, Arctic, C4ISR, autonomy). The system rewards those who field capability, not just proposals. We don’t chase generic open competitions or grant-driven R&D cycles. We build show sell: shoulder early risk, prove operational value with the user, then secure the demand signal and scale. We need an executive builder who can turn this model into funded, repeatable programs for Canada and, ultimately, Five-Eyes/NATO.

Our engagement principles (how we do GR differently)

  • Build, Show, Then Sell: Lead with working systems in real environments; use data from deployments—not slideware—to unlock budgets.
  • Proactive, Partnership-First: Co-design with operators, communities and program authorities, align with provincial and Northern/Indigenous partners, and structure long-term collaborations that outlive election cycles.
  • Share the risk: We’re willing to self-fund and shoulder early risk; in return, we expect clear transition paths and multi-year demand signaling once utility is proven.
  • Faster, Better, Cheaper for Canadians: Create procurement on-ramps that compress time (pilots limited ops programs of record), protect value for money, and reduce lifecycle cost through software-heavy, attritable systems.
  • Ethics & Compliance: Move fast without cutting corners—full compliance with Canadian law and international treaty obligations.

The mandate

Own Canada-facing government strategy and execution end-to-end: policy shaping, program capture, procurement navigation, industrial-benefit strategy (ITB), and mission-driven partnerships (CAF, Northern/Indigenous, provincial, Tier-1 primes). Convert opportunity into awarded, funded work for JADC2-North and CCA—and build a playbook and team that scales it.

What you’ll do

Strategy & Positioning

  • Architect and lead the GR strategy for AuraNet / JADC2-North and CCA/Loyal Wingman—anchored in build-show-sell, as well as future products and programs
  • Map decision chains and budgets across DND/CAF (ADM(Mat), ADM(Policy), RCAF, RCN, CA, CANSOFCOM), PSPC, ISED (ITB/SIF), TBS, SSC, and relevant provincial partners.
Shape narratives around attritable autonomy, Arctic domain awareness, and sovereign C2 to support near-term pilots and multi-year programs.
  • Serve as a primary external face with senior officials, committees, and working groups; deliver crisp testimony and executive briefings.

Procurement & Program Capture

  • Create non-traditional on-ramps: self-funded pilots, rapid demos, phased service buys; sequence pilots limited operations programs of record/ISS.
  • Stand up capture plans for specific vehicles and gateways (RFIs/RFPs where relevant, supply arrangements/standing offers, IDEaS/SIF, provincial mechanisms, CCC-enabled exports; ACAN only where appropriate and compliant).
  • Engineer ITB/offset strategies to convert prime obligations into Dominion-led work packages.
Establish bid/no-bid criteria and pricing guardrails aligned to outcome-based contracts and “as-a-service” models.

Stakeholder & Partnership Development

  • Build trusted relationships with project authorities, Northern/Indigenous partners, and provincial ecosystems; align them to field deployments and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate with NORAD modernization and Five-Eyes/NATO counterparts for interoperability and export pathways.
  • Convene industry coalitions around Dominion’s packages.

Team & Operating Cadence

  • Build and lead a small, high-output GR & Capture team; set goals, rhythms, and career paths.
  • Implement the GR operating system (pipeline reviews, account plans, stage gates, action trackers, win-loss).
  • Produce a living GR Playbook that codifies our build-show-sell approach across programs and regions.

Expectations (first 12 months)

  • 2–3 funded Canadian pilots advancing AuraNet/JADC2-North and/or CCA, each with a defined off-ramp to multi-year procurement.
  • $10–30M cumulative program value (mix of pilots + multi-year commitments/LoIs) with a visible ramp beyond Year 1.
  • 1–2 ITB-backed agreements converting prime offsets into Dominion-led work.
  • One interoperable export pathway into a Five-Eyes/NATO opportunity (MoU, CTAs, or CCC-enabled route).
  • A maintained GR pipeline with stage gates, owners, and monthly movement; zero compliance findings.

How we work

  • Builder culture: small teams, high trust, rapid fielding, measurable outcomes.
  • Ethics: unwavering compliance with Canadian law and international treaty obligations.
  • You’ll sit with Programs & Partnerships, with direct access to founders and engineering.

Compensation

Executive base + performance bonus tied to capture milestones + meaningful equity. Benefits + travel support for field deployments.
