Job Summary Reporting to SVP Business Transformation, we are looking for a Global Safety Director to champion health, safety, and security across our organization. In this senior role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of robust safety systems, aiming to minimize risks and prevent occupational injuries and illnesses worldwide. This a hybrid-workplace position that can be based out of any of the North American office locations (U.S. & Canada) for TYLin, Landrum & Brown, and Introba. Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global safety strategy aligned with our corporate goals, collaborating across regions and brands to set safety objectives.
- Foster a culture of safety at all levels, ensuring best practices and compliance with international standards.
- Analyze data, trends, and insights to proactively identify safety opportunities and potential threats to business objectives.
- Lead safety performance reporting for clients and external certifying bodies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Manage the global rollout of Safety Management System improvements, with a focus on rapid deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Conduct audits and gap analyses to align programs with legislative requirements, and champion improvements to achieve international ISO standards.
- Offer strategic guidance and technical expertise to executives, regional leaders, and sector heads.
- Establish global safety targets and metrics and oversee emergency and pandemic response planning.
- Lead the Safety and Security Steering Committee, driving continuous improvement in safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of relevant safety experience at the senior leadership level, with a proven track record in safety system and software implementation.
- Skilled in strategic planning, communication, and project management.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for effective documentation and reporting.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
