Description

Description: The Power Engineer 3rd Class is responsible for performing repairs and inspections on a variety of building equipment and mechanical systems in accordance with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA) standards and practices. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the IUOE Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications: A 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate required.

Additional Required Qualifications

Experience with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Computerized Building Management Systems and Air Handling Units.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the operation of hospital facilities would be an asset.
