Overview The individual is responsible for driving new growth and managing existing relationships within all areas of business including heavy focus on retail and foodservice. Key responsibilities include direct management and negotiation of inside sales accounts, pricing analysis and validation, as well as management of rebates and deductions. The successful candidate must be a team player working with various functions including commodities team, supply chain, finance, customer service and sales administration.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage supply contracts for small to medium sized regional accounts
- Ensure proper coverage of customer market orders with the commodity trading desk
- Effectively manage budgets and sales plans based on corporate objectives
- Work with supply chain to develop monthly sales forecasts by product and customer
- Prepare presentations, business reviews, and sales reports that identify areas for improvement and new business opportunities
- Provide input to customers on market conditions and monthly sales updates
- Run monthly external and internal reports for customer portfolio and act where required
- Reconcile outstanding short payments, deductions and sales accruals. Clear and audit sales deductions and work closely with finance to ensure accruals align with deductions and rebates.
- Fulfil foodservice and retail customer sample requests, complete and submit deal templates, new listing forms.
- Work with various functions in handling and resolving customer complaints
Educaiton/Work Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, food science or food technology
- Minimum 3 years sales or analyst experience in food or B2B industry
Essential Capabilities (knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Personal Attributes)
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Experience with SAP and BI is beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal skills, interacts well with multiple departments as required
- Strong analytical abilities
- Dynamic and self-motivated; results oriented
- Excellent time management and priority setting

- North America travel may be required
