As Manager, Restaurant Profitability , you will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and success of the Tim Hortons network. You’ll be responsible for analyzing restaurant performance, building financial models, and delivering insights that improve restaurant profitability. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Franchising, Field Operations, Marketing, Ops Analytics, and Development to provide actionable recommendations and ensure we continue to grow as a best-in-class franchisor.
You’ll have ownership of the restaurant P&L across more than 4,000 restaurants and be a key contributor in presenting results and opportunities to both senior leadership and the restaurant owner community.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and present restaurant profitability results to leadership and restaurant owners
- Track, compile, and analyze monthly financial results across the restaurant network
- Own and maintain internal P&L tools, including upgrades, maintenance, and profitability reporting
- Partner with Regional Field Teams to identify and address markets of concern
- Build and refine financial models to uncover opportunities for growth and improved performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Development, and Operations to ensure a holistic view of restaurant financial health
- Support strategic projects designed to drive Restaurant Profitability and long-term business growth
What We’re Looking For
- Analytical & Modeling Expertise: Skilled in financial modeling and scenario analysis, with the ability to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced in SQL (Snowflake and other cloud-based platforms) as well as Excel and PowerPoint; experienced working with large, complex datasets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to translate insights into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.
- Attributes:
- Self-motivated and proactive with high initiative
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Passion for the Tim Hortons brand and supporting restaurant success
