Purpose:
This role is responsible for the day to day tasks within the warehouse including, picking/packing, dispatch, inventory and receiving. They are responsible for adhering to all of the KPIs and SOPs set out for the department.

Job Responsibilities:
- Commits to being fully engaged, caring, and enthusiastic about the organization and its goals
- Adheres to corporate, regulatory, and individual responsibilities supporting the Company’s quality management programs, supporting policies, procedures, work instructions, and relevant software
- Adheres to the Company’s commitment to and policy on Code of Conduct
- Adheres to organizational and individual health and safety responsibilities in the workplace
- Reviews worksheets prior to picking and packing. Ensures that all customer orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Picks and packs all ancillary items as outlined in the worksheet.
- Packs all drugs according to SOP standards and consolidates with ancillary items.
- Organizes and dispatches orders to dedicated driver and common carriers.
- Cleans all IV equipment: IV poles, pumps and fridges to SOP standards.
- Ensures that all pick locations are maintained to proper inventory levels.
- Assist with the picking and assembling of all homecare kits.
- Assist in the receiving of inventory to verify incoming stock matches packing slip or copy of purchase order.
- Enter PO’s for both pharmacy and operations for the Vancouver site into the inventory system and maintaining a receipt filing system.
- The incumbent is to efficiently receive and handle all shipments as well as assemble large orders, perform stock transfers and administer vendor returns utilizing established processes.
- The associate assists with monitoring expiry dates, performing quality checks, restocking pick locations, performing cycle counts, storing products in a safe, tidy manner, and safely operating equipment
- Assist with the return of product to vendors and TPN plastic pallets to Calgary.
- Responsible for returning all cancelled, double picked, unsuccessful orders to stock.
- Assist with the sorting and disposal of all customer returned orders.
- Assist in ensuring the proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
- Ensures warehouse complies with health and safety standards.
- Housekeeping duties – Breaking down of all cardboard boxes and the disposal of cartons to the recycle bin, sweeping and washing floors.
- Maintain inventory of ice packs both in freezer and stock in warehouse.
- Provide backup for the equipment department. Must have complete knowledge on equipment inspection and cleaning.
- Weekly maintenance/service on forklift and keeps log updated.
- Lock up facility at end of day after all orders have been picked up.
- Provide training to all new warehouse employees.
- Internally, the warehouse associate interacts with warehouse, customer service, pharmacy, purchasing department and IT staff.
- Externally, the warehouse associate interacts with several shipping carriers to determine the most efficient and economical way to deliver orders.
- Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position including health and safety training via Learning Management System.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Forklift operation experience an asset
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent continuous improvement skills
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
