What is the opportunity?
RBC Technology Infrastructure (TI) is executing one of the most ambitious transformation agendas in the bank’s history - modernizing platforms, automating operations, and building the foundation for the Bank of Tomorrow.
To turn TI’s strategy into reality, we’re seeking an experienced AI Automation Strategy Specialist to join our team, responsible for partnering with horizontal TI product leaders to establish a centralized view of our TI Autonomous Agent roadmap. The successful candidate will play a key partnership role in developing the TI AI-Agent vision, while collaborating with key tower leaders and SMEs to execute on the shared ambition, leveraging technical expertise to deliver tangible business outcomes.
What will you do?
- Partnership and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with TI product leaders (AIOps, Support Bots, IaC, etc.), understanding their needs and priorities to inform horizontal AI-Agent strategy development.
- Centralized View of TI Agents: Design and implement a centralized framework to aggregate, analyze, and visualize TI Agent data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- AI Strategy Development: Collaborate with TI product leaders to identify opportunities for AI adoption, assessing feasibility, and developing tailored AI strategies to drive business value.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of AI technologies, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, to inform strategy development and solution design.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-powered solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing TI infrastructure.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to measure the effectiveness of AI strategies, providing data-driven insights to inform future decision-making.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate AI strategies, plans, and results to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Maintain knowledge of emerging AI trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this expertise to continuously improve AI strategy execution.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7-10+ years of experience in Tech Strategy, with minimum 3 years in AI or a related field
- Proven track record of partnering with technical stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision
- Excellent storytelling, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Nice to have:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Certification in AI, machine learning, or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Scientist)
