Job Specifics
Vancouver Family Practice Centre is looking for a Junior MOA to join the team ASAP and support the practitioners in clinic operations and in delivering patient care.
We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant to manage the TCI scheduling aspects of patients’ care during a one year maternity leave. This person will also be part of the MOA group answering phones, booking appointments, answering client inquiries, general office administration and any other tasks required to help keep the operations of the clinic running smoothly.
A MOA certificate is required, candidates without one will not be considered. The Following Skills Are Required For This Position
- Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and doctors
- Customer service focus and strong people skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written)
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic pace of a medical practice
Key Assets For This Position Include
- Experience in a Family Practice office
- Past EMR experience
- Proficient computer skills and ability to troubleshoot minor IT problems

- Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Saturday 10:00am -2:00pm
