Position Summary
Are you a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Laboratory department.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist performs routine lab procedures. May rotates through various disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology).
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, Nights - 06:00 to 14:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 14:00 to 22:00, 23:00 to 07:00, Rotating
Qualifications
-
Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory technology program; R.T. (General).

Eligible for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to organize work.

Ability to work alone, unsupervised.
-
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with others in the health care field.

Ability to sustain attention to accuracy and detail over extended periods.
-
Ability to keep abreast of technological developments in the field.
-
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

These services are provided through inpatient, ambulatory and community-based programs.
