The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team in Aurora.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You will oversee accounting operations across a complex multi-entity organization, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in financial reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements.

What You'll Be Responsible For Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Review financial statements and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support annual financial statement preparation and compliance with ASPE.

Intercompany & Consolidation Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations across 100+ entities. Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and accurate consolidation reporting. Maintain integrity and consistency of financial information across the organization.

Fixed Assets, Leases & Acquisitions Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting activities. Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation entries and integration activities. Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of acquisition-related transactions.

Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement Maintain strong internal controls and support year-end audits. Oversee indirect tax compliance, including HST filings and reconciliations. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and scalability as the business continues to grow.

Leadership & Collaboration Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team. Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams.

What You Bring Required Qualifications CPA designation. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE. Experience in multi-entity accounting environments, including consolidations and intercompany accounting. Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting. Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high-growth or acquisitive organization. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or post-acquisition integrations. Experience with Sage 300 or similar ERP systems. Background in environmental, industrial, or service-based industries. Bilingual in English and French.
