Air Unlimited Inc. is seeking a highly motivatedIndustrial Service Technician – Compressed Air Systems to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on compressed air systems in our Southern territory. This position requires both technical skill and excellent customer service, as the technician will represent the company on-site and ensure customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and professionalism. With their technical expertise, the Industrial Service Technician will play a key role in maintaining Air Unlimited Inc.’s strong reputation for excellence and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, start up, and commission air compressor systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all makes and models of compressed air equipment and engines with minimal supervision.
• Perform periodic maintenance, inspections, and testing on customer equipment.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and customers to coordinate work and provide updates.
• Conduct on-site service calls and perform in-shop repairs as required.
• Provide customers with parts, service recommendations, and technical support.
• Offer over-the-phone troubleshooting assistance when needed.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in cross-training for power generation systems and other related areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform failure analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of engines, power generators, and related equipment.
• General understanding of diesel engines, compressed air systems, and generator technology.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, specifications, and manufacturer manuals.
• Proficient in estimating the time and resources required to complete tasks.
• Previous experience with compressed air systems, industrial equipment, or heavy-duty mechanics is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of working independently or within a team.
• Physically capable of performing demanding tasks in various working conditions.
• Willingness to participate in a flexible, rotating on-call schedule for 24-hour emergency service.
• Committed to maintaining and promoting a safe work environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for out-of-town work.
• Willing to cross-train in additional technical areas.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Must not possess a criminal record.
