Dog Care & Customer Service Associate (Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunity) Canvasback Pet Supplies | Lockport, MB
Love dogs? Not afraid of hard work? Canvasback Pet Supplies is looking for a dependable team member to help care for dogs in our boarding and daycare program while also supporting customers in our retail store.
This role can bepart-time in one departmentorcombined into a full-time positionfor the right candidate who enjoys working with bothdogs and customers.

##What You’ll Do
###Dog Care (Canine Attendant)
- Care for dogs staying in our boarding and daycare programs
- Feed dogs and administer medications when required
- Provide walks, playtime, and enrichment activities
- Monitor dog interactions to ensure safe group play
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through daily cleaning
###Customer Service (Retail Associate)
- Greet customers and create a welcoming store experience
- Help pet owners choose the right food and supplies
- Process purchases and operate the till
- Stay informed on products, promotions, and events
- Assist with stocking and general store upkeep
##What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable and confident around dogs
- Friendly and positive with strong communication skills
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically able to be on your feet most of the day and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willing to learn and follow systems that ensure excellent care
- Previous animal care or customer service experience is an asset
##Schedule
Dogs need care every day, so this role requiresdaytime,evening, weekend, and occasional holiday shifts.
