Barrie Ford is currently seeking a Merchandiser/Delivery Specialist to join our team of customer focused professional within our high volume and process-driven Dealership.
Purpose/Summary of Position:
This role is responsible for the merchandising, marketing, and presentation of vehicles to optimize sales and profitability. The position focuses on ensuring that all vehicles are attractively displayed, accurately priced, and well-represented online and on the lot.
Earn bonus compensation.
Key Attributes & Expectations:
- Detail-Oriented: Ensures that all pre-owned vehicles are displayed in an appealing and organized manner
- Collaborative: Works effectively with sales and service teams to coordinate merchandising activities
- Proactive: Takes initiative in identifying and addressing potential issues with vehicle presentation and pricing
Skills Profile:
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of automotive retail operations
- Familiarity with applications such as PowerUp, vAuto, DeskIt, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in taking photos and uploading them to a computer
Special Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Post Secondary Education Preferred
- Basic Knowledge of automotive products and services
- Familiarity with PowerUp, vAuto, Deskit, and Microsoft Office Suite
