Summary About the Role – Joni Bartender Probationary Rate: $17.60 + Gratuity
Hourly Rate: $19.50 + Gratuity
Some of the responsibilities include: Park Hyatt Toronto is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join the team at Joni Restaurant. This role is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences through personalized recommendations and engaging interactions.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong mixology knowledge, and the ability to maintain a welcoming and professional bar environment. This position offers the opportunity to showcase creativity, build connections with guests, and elevate the overall dining experience.
Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar standards, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and service regulations while delivering the high level of service expected of the Park Hyatt brand.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and Hyatt standards
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and customized beverage experiences for guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines
- Monitor bar inventory and assist with stocking and replenishment as needed
- Engage with guests through friendly and professional conversation while providing attentive service
- Maintain strong knowledge of current mixology trends, bar equipment, and beverage offerings
- Support the restaurant team in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of mixology, bar equipment, and beverage preparation
- Understanding of provincial and local alcohol service regulations
- Refined verbal communication and guest service skills
- A genuine desire to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a busy bar setting
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
