Assignment:

• Part-time 0.50 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
• Courseload to include the following courses: Social Studies 7, 9, and 20
• This position has 5 preps per week and only 1 supervision per week
• Duties to commence November 3, 2025 and will continue until November 28, 2025, with the possibility of extension

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in an Junior/Senior High classroom

• Experience teaching relevant courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset

• Passion for education and a commitment to student success

• Assessment literate

• Able to provide direction and create individual student programs in collaboration with an EA

• Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills with an early education perspective

• Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities

• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
