The Junior Analyst will help develop and execute new initiatives from inception to implementation to achieve the business objectives of BMO's Global Asset Management Business Development Team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank to find new revenue opportunities and identify efficiencies in existing lines of business.
- Brings a strong marketing lens to a cross-functional team, blending analytical thinking with creative storytelling to identify market opportunities, and craft compelling value propositions.
- Conducts market and competitor analyses to inform outreach and positioning strategies.
- Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and impactful implementation.
- Formulate strategic recommendations based on a deep understanding of Global Asset Management’s overarching goals.
- Foster productive relationships with internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment between product messaging and business goals.
- Thinks creatively and proposes new ideas on how to help the overall team.
- Prepare reports, marketing collateral, and presentations to assist in educating stakeholders on new initiatives and product developments.
- Adheres to all compliance, regulatory, and legal guidelines to uphold the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in capital markets, consulting, or asset management is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- High level of initiative, self motivation, and a proactive approach to achieving results.
Salary:
$63,700.00 - $118,300.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
