Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Application Support Analyst to join our busy team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement to our application landscape. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and other support teams. You will help in driving resolution of complex issues, while enhancing overall service quality.
Key Responsibilities

Providing Level 2/3 support for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance

Lead incident management, including triage, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews

Drive problem management by identifying trends and implementing long-term solutions
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
-
Own and improve ticket hygiene, SLAs and service delivery metrics
-
Work with third-party vendors to prioritize and resolve defects and/or enhancements
-
Support release management activities, including validation, deployment support and post release monitoring
-
Contribute to process improvements, automation and operational best practices
-
Maintain and enhance documentation, knowledge base articles and runbooks
-
Act as a mentor/leader to other team members
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or IT Operations
- Strong experience with incident, problem, and change management process (ITIL)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Splunk
- Experience supporting applications hosted in house (Windows and Linux) and in Azure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile environments
- Experience supporting integrated systems and APIs
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems and platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with Vendors in support of hosted applications
- Experience supporting applications that use Apache Kafka for event-driven communication – to analyze consumer lag and throughput issues
- Working knowledge of Snowflake – familiarity with data pipelines, ingestion process, and transformations feeding Snowflake
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Scripting or automation experience
- Monitoring experience
