Associate Dentist – Sheppard West Dental (North York, ON)
Step into a busy, modern, and well-equipped practice with a steady flow of emergencies and loyal patients.

Sheppard West Dental is seeking a confident, well-rounded Associate Dentist to provide locum coverage while two of our full-time dentists are away. You’ll be stepping into a thriving clinic with strong patient flow, a supportive team, and full autonomy to perform a wide range of procedures. This short-term opportunity is ideal for a capable general dentist comfortable managing emergencies, extractions, and endo cases independently.

Schedule

Coverage begins October 27, 2025, with potential for extension.

  • Monday, October 27th – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Thursday, November 13th – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Friday, November 14th – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Friday, December 19th – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Friday, January 2nd, 2026 – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Thursday, January 8th – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Friday, January 9th – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Friday, January 16th – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Practice Snapshot

  • 5 operatories (2–3 for the associate) | 2 hygienists daily
  • Fully staffed team: CDA, RDH, admin, and treatment coordinator
  • Technology: ClearDent PMS, iOS, Digital X-rays, Soft Tissue Laser, Videa Health | Paperless
  • Located in a standalone building with free parking (Yonge & Sheppard area)
  • Recently renovated in 2023 – bright, modern, and fully updated
  • Dedicated dentist office with private washroom and large staff lunchroom

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
