Evening Bus Washer - Part-Time - Orillia
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, evenings
About the Role
Join our team at First Student as a Bus Washer! In this role, you will help maintain and fuel our school buses, activity buses, and commercial vehicles. You'll ensure buses are clean, safe, and ready for dispatch while performing light maintenance on vehicles and facilities.
What You'll Do
- Wash and clean buses (interior and exterior)
- Dispense fuel and check fluid levels (oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, etc.)
- Maintain accurate fuel and maintenance records
- Assist with light building and yard maintenance
- Reposition buses in the yard for smooth dispatch
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn basic maintenance skills
- Knowledge of bus maintenance is an asset
- Clean driving record preferred
