About the role
Unity Recruitments Inc. is currently seeking a reliable Shipper / Receiver for one of our clients located in Missisuaga Ontario. The ideal candidate will have previous shipping and receiving experience and be comfortable working in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing orders accurately
- Check shipments for damage, shortages, or errors
- Maintain inventory records and assist with stock organization
- Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if licensed)
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a shipper/receiver or warehouse associate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer or inventory system knowledge is an asset
- Forklift license is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
