Job Title: Business Development Executive – B2B Telecommunications Sales

Location: York Region, GTA, Halton Region, Ontario (Hybrid)

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 CAD (dependent on experience)

Performance-based commission and bonus opportunities available.

The Client: Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the telecommunications and digital infrastructure sector, delivering industry-leading fibre internet, voice, and connectivity solutions to businesses across Southern Ontario. What you will achieve in this role:

  • Generate new business opportunities by prospecting and developing relationships with businesses, property managers, and commercial building owners within assigned territories.
  • Manage the full B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, solution development, proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Sell business telecommunications solutions including fibre internet, VoIP, connectivity, and related communication services.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and territory development activities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities while consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Identify customer business needs and recommend customized telecommunications solutions that improve connectivity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and position the organization as a trusted technology partner.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, customer records, and forecasting within the CRM system.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and improve sales strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and support ongoing client satisfaction following implementation.
  • Represent the organization professionally while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer service.

What you must bring to this role:

  • 2-3+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably within telecommunications, fibre, internet, technology, SaaS, or business services.
  • Proven success developing new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Strong understanding of business telecommunications services, fibre optic solutions, internet connectivity, VoIP, or related technologies is considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas and performance targets.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth and additional services.
  • Basic knowledge of networking infrastructure or telecommunications systems is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
  • Valid G-Class Driver's License and reliable vehicle required.
