You are an expert S enior Project Manager or Associate Director with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.
Job Description
Due to ongoing delivery success and ambitious growth plans, Turner & Townsend is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Associate Director to join our Real Estate/Property team in Halifax.
Job Objectives – Associate Director:
- Team leadership of section of Project Management personnel across Halifax/Maritimes region
- Business Development – Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients. Identifying and acting upon cross selling opportunities
- Staff management – Line management for Senior Consultants, Consultants and Graduate Consultants, including performance reviews
- Recruitment – Inclusion in selection and recruitment process, including interviews, input into resource management
- Financial Management – Using the tools provided keep track of ongoing margin levels and fee / resource forecasts for each commission
- Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.
- Commercial or retail fit out experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field
- PMP certification
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Project or P6.
- Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms.
