The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Journeyperson Electrician to join our Edmonton team, working on the wiring, assembly, and commissioning of overhead cranes and industrial equipment.
This role offers a mix of shop and field work, giving you variety and hands-on involvement in unique projects you won’t find in typical electrical roles.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Wire and assemble overhead cranes, hoists, and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Install control panels, festoon systems, pendants, and VFDs
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and customer specifications
- Support shop operations and prepare equipment for shipment
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Journeyperson Electrician
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and control wiring
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a hands-on environment
- Valid driver’s licence
Crane or hoist experience is a strong asset, but not required.
Working Conditions
- Combination of shop and field work
- Physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs)
