Job Description:

The Senior Advisor, HR Knowledge Management & Operational Excellence is responsible for driving strategic HR knowledge initiatives, operational performance metrics, and continuous process improvement. This role supports the development and maintenance of HR knowledge content, optimizes service delivery, and enhances onboarding and control processes within the HR Service Centre.

Key Accountabilities:

  • HR Knowledge Management: Lead the creation, review, and publishing of HR knowledge articles in collaboration with HR Centres of Expertise (CoEs).
  • Operational Excellence Strategy: Develop and implement performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and dashboards to monitor and improve HR service delivery.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and execute opportunities to streamline, standardize, and enhance HR processes.
  • Service Rationalization: Assess and consolidate existing services to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct data analytics and quality management to support ongoing HR improvements.
  • HR Onboarding Support: Facilitate onboarding for new HR team members, including tools, technology, and ways of working.
  • Control & Approval Governance: Manage HR control processes and ensure proper delineation of duties.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Management: Maintain strong internal relationships with HR CoEs and the HR Service Centre.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant deep HR or HR Operations experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement training.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and ServiceNow HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with process improvement capabilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Experience in dashboarding and performance metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of The Salvation Army’s mission and values.

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $59,571.23 to $74,464.04 with a maximum of $89,356.85.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
