Your area of focus.

In this position, the Service Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing warranty claims, processing them in a timely and accurate manner, and ensuring that warranty-related issues are handled in compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies. The position typically involves working closely with service department staff, customers, and manufacturers to ensure that warranty repairs and claims are properly documented, submitted, and paid.

What drives your day-to-day?

  • Process warranty claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to manufacturers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for warranty work and claims.
  • Communicate with customers regarding warranty status and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure proper warranty documentation and parts management. Monitor compliance with manufacturer standards and assist with reporting and audits.

What are the must-haves…

  • Experience in warranty administration or automotive service preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with service management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and able to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent document creation and proofreading skills with a high level of proficiency related to business correspondence/communications
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
