Job Requisition #: 032882 Yard Truck Driver (Shunter) (Open)
Job Description Key Responsibilities Shunt Driver Duties
- operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard
- communicate with shipping personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers
- report any issues or damages to trailers
- Completes routine service on trucks, which may include checking fluids, fuel, and air. Reports all maintenance issues and malfunctions.
- Assists with loading or unloading of products or materials, using specialized equipment when warranted. Unloads empty pallets and returns all equipment to designated area.
Responsibilities
- maintain and contribute a safe and clean work environment
- follow safety regulations
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience operating tractor trailer or spotter truck
- good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- good organizational and time-management skills
- solution oriented problem solver

Compensation Range The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
