Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing Systems Integration team in British Columbia.
This full-time role is based out of our Burnaby office and includes regular client meetings and site visits throughout British Columbia. Responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining client relationships, and providing accurate forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities
Drive net-new business growth for SSRG's Systems Integration division in Vancouver and across BC when required. Prospect aggressively through cold calling, networking, referrals, consultants, contractors, property managers, vendors, and industry events. Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, monitoring, and other integrated security solutions. Lead discovery meetings and site visits to understand client needs, risks, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers. Develop strong relationships with owners, consultants, general contractors, electrical contractors, facility leaders, and key stakeholders. Work with estimating, engineering, project management, and operations to build accurate scopes, proposals, budgets, and project plans. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, close, and handoff to operations. Negotiate pricing, terms, payment milestones, and contract requirements while protecting margin and cash flow. Maintain a strong pipeline with accurate CRM updates, forecasts, next steps, and close dates. Track market trends, competitor activity, construction activity, and new growth opportunities. Represent SSRG professionally at client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry associations. Cross-sell SSRG's security, technology, and risk management service offerings. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Requirements
5+ years of B2B sales experience, within security systems, low-voltage, building technologies, or systems integration; background in integrated security and/or low-voltage is preferred. Strong understanding of card access, CCTV, intercom, and alarm systems, including typical components, integration requirements, and solution design basics. Knowledge in the following systems is an asset: GALLAGHER, KEYSCAN, KANTECH, AMAG, LENEL, AVIGILON, MILESTONE, GENETEC, AXIS, HANWHA, DSC, BOSCH. Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, build and manage a sales pipeline, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple levels. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including experience using CRM tools and working with sales metrics and forecasts. Experience selling into commercial, industrial, or healthcare markets is highly beneficial. Track record of success with both short and long sales cycles. Post-secondary education in business, technology, security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong prospecting, lead generation, and cold-calling skills. Self-motivated, highly driven "hunter" mentality with strong closing skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM platforms. Superior customer service and relationship-building skills. Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to own vehicle. Ability to travel throughout British Columbia as required. Strong team-oriented approach and professional attitude.
