Manager, Fund Accounting – Hedge Funds Toronto, ON, Canada $95-115K

Overview Our client a global financial services firm is seeking a Manager to join its Hedge Fund Accounting team. The company provides fund administration, governance, and asset services to clients worldwide, supporting complex fund structures with a strong focus on technology and client service.

Key Responsibilities Oversee preparation of financial statements, profit allocations, and net asset value (NAV) calculations Manage client relationships and respond to reporting inquiries Support and review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders Assist with onboarding new clients and launching new funds Improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal standards Contribute to departmental initiatives and ad hoc projects

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics 5+ years of hedge fund or investment fund accounting experience Professional designation (CPA, CFA, etc.) preferred Strong knowledge of financial products, including derivatives Experience reviewing work and managing a team Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency
