Position Summary Reporting to the Lead QA Engineer, the QA Engineer, you’ll ensure quality across customer-facing experiences — owning test strategies, safeguarding functional reliability, accessibility, and performance, and spotting risks early. Through hands-on testing, tooling, and collaboration, you’ll elevate engineering quality and directly impact delivery speed, customer satisfaction, and production stability.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain test plans for new features and continuously improve existing ones.
- Create well-structured, traceable test cases based on requirements and user flows.
- Execute diverse testing types: Smoke, Sanity, Functional, SIT, E2E, Compatibility, Regression, Accessibility, and Performance; assist with UAT and post-production validation.
- Perform web and mobile testing to ensure seamless experiences across platforms.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure teams to uphold quality standards.
- Identify, log, and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and participate in triage meetings.
- Maintain clear documentation of QA processes, test cases, and results.
- Promote best practices and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
What You Bring Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of QA experience, with strong expertise in manual testing for web and mobile.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Test management, Project Management tools and API, cross-browser/device testing.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
Nice-to-haves
- Exposure to performance, accessibility, security testing, and test automation.
- Familiarity with Core Banking, digital banking, and lending platforms.
- Experience in fast-paced or start-up environments.
