About the role
Xtreme Tire Garage is seeking a LICENSED TRUCK Mechanic (310T) to join our team in Mississauga, ON.
Position Summary:
Xtreme Tire Garage has been providing service, value and expertise since 2006. We are looking for a licensed truck mechanic to complement our team in servicing our light duty fleet customers. You will be responsible to inspect, diagnose, service and repair a variety of light and medium-duty trucks, trailers and light commercial trucks. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in general repairs as well as tire mounting, balancing and changeover services. If you have the following qualifications, get in touch with us!
- Licensed 310T (provincially recognized mechanic/trade certification required)
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical service with a focus on GENERAL REPAIRS
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Own your own tools
- Accountable for your actions and decisions
- Professional attitude, reliable with your attendance and punctuality
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and service advisors
- Other Qualifications:
- Valid full-G Driver's License (Required)
- Current valid insurance (Required)
- Follow company workplace policies and procedures
- Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, trouble-shoot, repair, etc.)
- Support a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
- Assist shop foreman/supervisor with any additional tasks as required
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions
