Job Description Summary The Associate Sales Representative assists the Sales team and partners with Sales Representatives to service and call on assigned accounts to help grow sales.
Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will learn sales techniques and company product/service offerings. Will handle less complex assignments and partners with more senior representatives to close sales when necessary.
- Identify new account and new business opportunities. Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships. Resolve, communicate and follow-up on service issues in a timely basis.
- Develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, and proposals and conduct product demonstrations with the purpose of selling new item categories and customer programs.
- Manage customer agreements by working with vendors, Medline’s product divisions, Medline’s contracting division, group purchasing organization and the customers.
- Manage pricing and service related activities.
- Perform account level collaborative business reviews. Review reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to identify selling opportunities and monitor sales progress at the individual account level.
- Perform cross referencing activities. Attain profitability improvement by executing product substitutions.
- Collaborate between customer service, sales administration and sales management to complete job functions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree OR at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a detail focused, results oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be people-oriented with strong inter-personal skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations in a positive manner.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Sales experience
- Proven ability to manage full life cycle projects and bring projects in on time
- Skilled in problem solving techniques
- SAP experience
The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position $60,100.00 - $90,100.00 Annual
