Senior Analyst, Customer Supply Chain Initiatives
Reports To:
Manager, Customer Supply Chain Initiatives
Location:
Markham, Ontario - Hybrid (minimum 40% in office each week)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring, collaborative solutions with customers through their strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain, data analytics, project management and continuous improvement practices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY
- Provide project management and analytics as it relates to customer supply chain improvement opportunities, such as:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end supply chain (Internal & External)
- Partner closely with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to support forecasting, inventory, and performance initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage existing Smucker supply chain capabilities
- Leverage data analytics to improve service metrics while growing sales
- Deliver proactive supply chain solutions that attain key performance metrics (Instock, On Time, In Full)
- Understand the anticipated impact of recommendations to both Smucker and Customer Supply Chains
- Monitor and measure results of implemented changes
- Support and complete key tasks and project plans for timely completion of goals
- Identify, design, and deliver supply chain solutions that balance cost & service to create a collaborative environment between our customers and JM Smucker
- Build effective cross-functional working relationships to achieve established shared goals or objectives
- Identify project risks and develop contingency plans as necessary
- Attend and lead quarterly in-person meetings with external Loblaw Senior Leadership Team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive business experience
- Intermediate experience with Data visualization tools
- Intermediate or advanced experience with Microsoft products
- Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task
- Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

- Analytical Thinking: The ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information in a logical, systematic, sequential approach

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional groups
- Travel to the customer 1x/quarter for Quarterly Supply Chain Business Review (Mississauga)
Salary Range:
$68,000 - $98,000 annually
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Compensation will be determined based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, skills, work experience, and internal equity considerations.
