Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst Location: Niagara and area. Onsite and remote work Industry: Professional Services - R eal estate & development Salary: $80,000-$90,000 plus immense growth opportunity The Senior Financial Accountant will work for a small professional services company providing support and consultative services in the real estate and related industries. You will provide financial insights, analysis, and reporting to guide strategic and operational decisions.

Responsibilities Included But Limited To Include

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and cash flow projections for real estate portfolios and development projects.

  • Conduct budget-to-actual reviews and identify key performance drivers and trends.

  • Partner with real estate clients to understand their business objectives and provide actionable financial insights.

  • Deliver regular financial updates, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses to support client decision-making.

  • Assist clients with accounting inquiries and ensure compliance with reporting standards.

  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations.

  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.

  • Help improve and document financial processes, workflows, and reporting systems.

  • Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and financial evaluations for property acquisitions, dispositions, or developments.

  • Monitor market trends and real estate benchmarks to provide context for financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within real estate, investment, or professional services.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Argus, or Yardi a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
