Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Scent free. Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Initiative. Judgement. Reliability. Time management. Patience. Honesty. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans . Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Support for mature workers: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers . Supports for visible minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
