Director, Marketing - belairdirect Brand, Creative & Social Media Marketing
About the role
What you’ll do here:

Define and own the belairdirect brand vision: In collaboration with your team members, peers and partners, you will set and execute the long-term vision and strategy for belairdirect brand to attract Canadians attention, drive consideration, action and advocacy.

Champion go-to-market strategies: You will support your team and partners in translating the vision in an actionable roadmap and develop an integrated plan to launch new products, services, and offerings to Canadians and customers. You will lead a team that delivers breakthrough strategy and campaigns allowing belairdirect to stand out from the crowd and be a market leader by constantly evolving our marketing platform. You will leverage internal marketing experts and external partners, analyze campaigns performance, market & customers insights and behaviours and many data sources to push our marketing strategy forward.

Lead, coach, and support a high performing and engaged team: You will mentor and inspire a team of advertising, brand, social media, content and creative experts, help them develop their leadership skills and their expertise and champion our marketing projects and practices. You will advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and develop a close relationship with your team members, helping them succeed in their mandate and reach their professional objectives. You will help your team and partners identify and focus on the highest value initiatives, balancing innovative initiatives, market opportunities and business needs.

Collaborate with team members within Marketing and across the company: You will work hand in hand with your Marketing peers - true subject matter experts - and build strong relationships across the company and with our external partners to shine. You will ensure a global, integrated, and impactful brand approach across the company, where each brand in the brand portfolio of Intact Financial Corporation speaks with a strong and differentiated voice.

Communicate to stakeholders across the organization: You will build authentic and enduring relationships with your peers, internal partners, and executives across our organization. You will communicate your roadmap, potential impacts from brand decisions or initiatives on other teams and work collaboratively to improve the cross-funnel performance. You will anticipate business challenges and stakeholders needs, proactively recommend solutions or improvements, communicate, and influence upstream, laterally, and downstream.

What you have:

At least 15 years of experience in marketing strategy, growth marketing and brand management.

At least 5 years of experience managing marketing professionals, including managers.

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, administration, product management, design or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Strong data-driven and analytical curiosity especially within the marketing ecosystem.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
