Job Description
The Health Informatics Partner will participate in the ongoing operations and projects related to clinical aspects in ICT (Information & Communications Technology). As a member of the ICT team, they will participate in workflow process mapping as well as supporting a broad range of systems and applications used by the clinical teams.
The Health Informatics Partner must have the ability to organize, prepare/update training and reference manuals and other support material, and become familiar with other core applications and the underlying technical environment to provide backup for other Applications team members and participate in an on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Halton Healthcare Services is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; are team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible.

Clinical Degree or Diploma, Health Informatics Degree, or equivalent education/work experience

A minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical role in a healthcare environment

Sound knowledge of Meditech Expanse an asset
-
Previous experience with MEDITECH upgrades; software installations and system rebuild an asset.

Proficient in Microsoft Office product line including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Project Experienced in implementing/supporting wide variety of systems/applications, workflow analysis, and benefits maximization

Excellent communication/business analysis/problem solving/root cause analysis skills
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Knowledge of interface engines and scripting applications an asset
-
PMP (Project Management Professional) designation an asset
-
Previous experience training adult computer users with positive outcomes
-
Able to handle multiple responsibilities with competing priorities in a fast-paced progressive environment
-
Must be well-organized, self-directed, and be able to interact patiently and effectively with staff

Must be physically able to do the job

Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Additional Information
Status: Temporary Full-time (12 months)
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.5 hour day shifts; 0800 - 1600 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $48.103 - $60.154 per hour
