About the role
- Data Management (DM) support for the CSI ISS program at the East Coast Media Library, ensuring full compliance with customer requirements and Lockheed Martin CSI ISS DM policies and procedures.
- Configuration Management (CM) back-up training to ensure continuity of CM during vacation and/or absence.
- Processing incoming media (multiple formats), ensuring all virus scanning and holdings records are up to date.
- Processing disposition of media in accordance with documented procedures and authorizations. Maintaining accurate records of media transfers and destruction.
- Attending regular status meetings and reporting status of action items and milestones.
- Reporting to CM/DM Lead on activity statuses and communicating issues as they arise.
- Reviewing and updating relevant processes for documentation and forms.
- Communicating the need for changes to DM tools and processes.
- Coordinating, supporting and implementation of annual classified DM audits.
- Support Halifax Class Ship Software Audits
What you bring to the role
- Diploma or Degree in applicable discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Time management skills to efficiently multitask and support changing priorities
- Forward and open-minded thinker with ability to work independently and within a team
- Willing to work at Canada’s largest Naval Base
Additional skills desired for the role
- Experience in Windchill, SharePoint, SAP and Redmine
- Knowledge of DND standards, as well as DM processes and procedures
