Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Identify clients' financial goals and objectives. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Develop financial plans for clients. Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning. Prepare financial statements and reports. Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements.
