IT Technical Support - Level 2 - On site - Mount Royal Office

Fuze Logistics Services is a next generation 3PL headquartered in Montreal, with offices across North America, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and decades of industry expertise to facilitate the transport of freight globally.

Fuze Logistics Services is currently seeking for an IT Technical Support - Level 2 to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to employees on computer systems, hardware, and/or software. The candidate will also be responsible to respond to technical inquiries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions with a defined scope of support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement, in collaboration with the Manager, Technical Support and Infrastructure, efficient technical processes to quickly address problems to minimize downtime;

  • Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configurations;

  • Provide IT solutions to personnel in non-technical and comprehensible terms;

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations;

  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends;

  • Perform network management;

  • Ensure the management of the inventory of IT equipment;

  • Participate in related IT projects;

  • Verify functionality of hardware and software components;

  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to the department’s needs and standards;

  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance;

  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.).

Education Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Technical diploma (DEC, AEC) in Technical Support or in a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience with the following technologies:

  • Windows 10 PC Support & Apple PC;

  • Windows Server 2008 and above background;

  • MS Office /Office 365;

  • Backoffice CRM;

  • Cell Telephone Android and Apple;

  • Ticketing System Jira;

  • Remote Support.
