Duties:

The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for Student Assistants for the following positions for during the Winter term of 2025/26:

74:152 Assign. Marker Up to 5 hrs per wk for up to 9 wks
74:152 Lab Marker Up to 5 hrs per wk for up to 10 wks

The successful candidates will mark assignments or lab reports from a marking key, and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Successful completion of course(s) for which they are applying
  • Demonstrated success in other Physics courses
  • Ability to meet deadlines (reliable and punctual)
  • Ability to interpret and follow marking guide
  • Ability to use judgement to evaluate alternative solutions
