The current opportunity as aSoftware Developeris in ourInformation Technologies Department. This position is a Permanent Full-Time Position.
Available Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day Shift.
- Overtime and on-call work as needed
Wage:$50, 000.00 to $75, 000.00 depending on experience and skills
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions with a primary focus on web applications built using an MVC architecture.
- Develop and enhance server-side functionality using C# and the .NET / ASP.NET MVC framework.
- Design, write, and optimize database objects and queries using Microsoft SQL Server.
Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON. - Integrate applications with internal systems and third-party APIs and services as required.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain code quality through documentation, code reviews, and adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing software applications, particularly web-based applications using C# and ASP.NET MVC.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and modern application design principles.
- Solid knowledge of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working with front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and JSON.
- Familiarity with client-server concepts, RESTful web services, and application hosting in IIS.
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and source control practices.
- Experience using Visual Studio and modern development toolchains; familiarity with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server is an asset.
- General familiarity with the Microsoft development stack (.NET, Windows-based environments).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects, changing priorities, and deadlines.
- Previous experience with Visual ERP or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
