As an Epic P&C Workflow Specialist, a typical day might include:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, enhance system functionality, and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborating with business departments to understand their needs and translate them into system enhancements.
  • Working with members of the Epic Systems team on developing and implementing workflow changes, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Working with department managers, directors, CFO, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Facilitating meetings, presenting status updates, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with users.
  • Reviewing Epic Email Inbox daily
  • Participating in Epic Cleanup, as required
  • Acting as Epic P&C Workflow Subject Matter Expert in various committees and projects as required, including participating in Epic migration projects associated with acquisitions

Must haves:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the general insurance industry
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the Applied Epic Broker Management System including ancillary products
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Undergraduate University Diploma or Degree, preferably in technology or business, or equivalent experience
