Pinchin is seeking a Project Administrator to join our Environmental Due

Diligence & Remediation team in Burnaby. The existing role reports to the Operations Manager.

Role Overview

As a Project Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting project teams

by coordinating administrative activities, preparing and quality-checking project deliverables, maintaining project data, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with technical staff and clients, you will help keep projects on track while providing essential administrative and operational support.

Your Role and Action

  • Ensure deliverables are accurately formatted and that quality control forms have been completed by technical reviewers
  • Proof-reading deliverables
  • Issue letters, reports, transmittals, spreadsheets, appendices (maps, photographs), etc. to clients on a timely basis
  • Timely assembly, printing, delivery of reports, letters, etc.
  • Project setups to ensure accuracy of details maintained in company project management system (Vision)
  • Receive/process internal samples for lab
  • Complete monthly office safety audits
  • Assist in filling various chains of custodies for samples
  • Generate shipping slips and receive office packages
  • Assist in generating office expense reports/invoices
  • Set-up of Team / Zoom meetings
  • Assist with taking minutes
  • Analyze and verify consistency, completeness and accuracy of project data
  • Assist and or maintain a clean, organized desk and well-stocked kitchen area and supply room

What You’ll Bring to Pinchin

  • Required: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Secretarial or Administrative Assistant Course and 1-year Business Administration or Business Computer Course
  • At least two years of experience in administrative functions
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Foxit PDF Editor
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision under strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for working with all levels of the organization
  • Able to work independently and in a team setting

Pay ranges are listed as required by law. Final compensation reflects each

candidate’s education, experience, qualifications, and work location.
