Reporting to the Foreman, the Dozer Operator is responsible for operating bulldozers and track loaders to move, level, and grade earth, rock, and other materials on construction, or excavation sites. They ensure efficient site preparation, maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects accurately and on schedule.
How You’ll Add Value
- Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Operate the dozer in successive passes to raise or lower terrain to the specified grade, using grade stakes or hand signals as references
- Use the dozer to level soil and move rock or debris
- Ensure proper operation of attachments such as rippers, blades, and winches
- Identify and report mechanical issues or potential hazards to supervisors
- Perform daily maintenance, safety checks, and pre-operational tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and refueling equipment to ensure smooth and safe operation
- Operate additional heavy equipment (i.e. excavator) as required to support project needs
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience operating a dozer in heavy civil construction
- Physically able to access/egress as well as remove debris from tracked equipment
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions

Our teams work year-round to service the provincial highway network, ensuring roads, bridges, and culverts remain safe and accessible.
