As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing prompt, courteous and professional service to our policy holders, advisors and administrative staff. You will respond to telephone inquiries by providing accurate information on our diverse products and services. Our department operates on rotational shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday. We are closed on statutory holidays.
What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for our policyholders, advisors, and administrative staff—primarily over the phone.
- Provide accurate, timely information about our insurance and investment products (Canada Life, Great-West Life, London Life).
- Deliver empathetic, solution-focused service while meeting performance targets.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program to set you up for success.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone, even in high-pressure situations.
What You Bring
- Exceptional phone-based customer service skills - you’re calm, clear, and confident.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in financial services, hospitality, or a contact centre is a strong asset.
- Post-secondary education in business or finance is preferred.
- A desire to learn and grow in the insurance and investment space.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-moving, structured environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn multiple systems quickly.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
- French-Bilingual would be considered an asset.

Note: 250MB bandwidth per month usage or higher may be consumed.
Canada Life will provide a laptop, keyboard, mouse, charger, headset and a backpack. If you choose to participate in the hybrid work arrangement, you’d be responsible for purchasing a docking station and 2 monitors to work from home.
The base salary for this position is between $46,000 - $50,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
