Job Summary Under the supervision of the IT Director and within a dynamic and agile IT team, the main role of the technician will be to respond to requests for services and application assistance from users. He is a specialist in operational hotel and restaurant applications (In direct contact with our guests). He will have the opportunity to collaborate on multiple projects using cutting-edge technologies. Germain Hotels' IT environment is highly diversified and allows team members to acquire new knowledge and develop their expertise.

YOUR ROLE

  • Provide level 2 support for application assistance calls
  • Manage the creation of accounts on various applications
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve issues
  • Improve and update user guides and procedures
  • Create, improve and maintain technical documentation
  • Collaborate in the harmonization and optimization of the use of operational applications
  • Collaborate in their configuration and deployment
  • Work closely with operations, accounting, distribution and marketing
  • Act as an operations representative to the IT team, and technology facilitator to operations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Graduate in Hospitality / Hotel Management
  • Experience in a support role is an asset
  • Good knowledge of Opera PMS / Opera S&C / Simphony POS
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hotel industry
  • Application analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new technology skills
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Curiosity and resourcefulness
  • Good priority management
