TheMarketing Analyticsfunction within**AI2 (Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence)**is a central source of internal and external digital insights and data analytics which supports both corporate and business unit strategies for TD Bank Financial Group Canada. The group's mission is to be influential change agents and consumer advocates to help deliver the better bank and drive shareholder return through optimizing the impact of customer experience. The team seeks to deliver excellence in analytics and insights to support short-term business success as well as long-term strategy of the bank.
TheDigital Marketing Analytics & Insights teambrings together a diverse range of technical and business expertise including digital analytics, website analytics, big data, cloud, E2E analytics, market research, business analytics, data science and modelling, business intelligence, data strategy and governance, data management and visualization.
Marketing Analytics Team supports the central marketing function within TD Bank Group with high quality, innovative, and insightful information to help build value for our customers and shareholders. Marketing Analytics Team is a located in Toronto. It supports most consumer-facing TD Bank Group lines of business.
Job Description/Role Overview:
Your goal as a part of the Marketing Analytics team is to provide in depth expertise, analytical interpretation, key insights and action items to your partner across Marketing and other multi-functional teams. Those insights will enable informed business decisions to enterprise wide or help to solve the increasingly complex business problems they face.
In this role, TD will look to you for thought leadership; enabling you to lead, coach, mentor, empower and educate your peers to collaborate and bring TD into the future of banking. Your success will be predicated on your ability to forge strong partnerships, communicate effectively, solve problems, and continuously strive for achieving results.
Core Responsibilities:
- Measurement and reporting on paid media, website, and business performance across all marketing channels for key TD businesses. Translate complex data into clear, consumable dashboards and visualizations that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and answer key business questions.
- Conducting causal impact analysis and match-market incrementality tests to understand the true business value of marketing and suggest optimization opportunities
- Understand the business objectives, translate data into insights and experiment opportunities, use the results to help Marketing make informed decisions
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on behaviors throughout the customer lifecycle to uncover actionable insights and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across digital, marketing, business and technology teams to apply business and channel strategies that support enterprise and line-of-business goals
- Serve as a subject matter expert in digital marketing analytics, proactively provide analytical guidance to key stakeholders on channel performances, as well as identify, ideate, and conduct value-add analytics use cases that improve marketing channel effectiveness and business outcomes
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a digital marketing, BI, or data science role
- An academic background in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms (ie. DCM, SA360, DV360, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager)
- Experience with incrementality test methodologies (ie. Geo Experiments, Time-based causal impact analysis)
- Knowledge of leveraging and visualizating customer data and insights from internal data warehouses through the use of Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, DOMO
- Experience using Python, SQL, or Spark to manipulate data and draw insights from large and complex internal datasets in Azure
- Experience with Adobe Analytics is a strong asset
- Experience in project development workflow tools such as JIRA, Confluence and GitHub preferred.
- Critical thinking, storytelling and strong communications skills a must
