Reporting to the Senior Manager, Osler Dash, the Product Specialist works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support the product strategy, sales & marketing, and day-to-day operations for the Firm’s first-to-market franchise disclosure and contracting automation solution known as Osler Dash.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coding and maintaining coded customer templates in contract automation software, Contract Express
- Creating and maintaining customer extranet sites in HighQ
- Considering customer feedback and translating feedback into requirements that are submitted to vendors
- Coordinating with vendors to manage new feature requests and resolve technical issues
- Continuous research and awareness of legal technology solutions, scheduling and taking part in demos and participating in evaluation against product requirements
- Leading discrete projects as assigned that support the strategy and day-to-day operations of the product
- Advising on best practices and developing process improvement recommendations
- Maintaining product documentation and tracking tools such as product roadmap, customer/vendor feature request logs, vendor update log, sales pipeline, checklists and process diagrams
- Supporting customer and vendor billing processes and tracking
- Traveling to and attending industry-related conferences, conventions and tradeshows to promote Osler Dash
- Supporting business development strategy by regularly performing market research surrounding franchised brands and using that information to inform market analyses and prioritization of sales pipeline
Position Requirements Education and Experience
This position requires a university degree or college diploma in an Information Technology or Business discipline, plus a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in professional services or a law firm. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Knowledge And Skills
- Experience with project management or agile considered an asset
- A CAPM designation or certification in Lean Six Sigma is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a friendly, professional manner
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Time management skills in order to work efficiently
- Analytical thinker who can troubleshoot issues and think outside the box when considering potential solutions
- Strong work ethic and collaborative work approach
- Ability to translate technical requirements into user-friendly descriptions
We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
